Shichibukai is roughly translated from Japanese as The Seven Pirates.
History of Shichibukai (recounted from Seafoam's foggy memory):
Azul and Seafoam started playing on Macedon in 2008 after Seafoam started playing on another server and Azul joined the wrong server. Seafoam did not care what server she was on, so she moved to Macedon. Azul had already joined a guild named Shichibukai, and being a fan of One Piece, she asked to join.
The current guild leader at that time was Izhora, but he was the friend of the former leader who had created the guild. The founder of the guild never appeared until years later, but stayed for a couple of days before disappearing. For a while, Shichibukai was a three person guild until we started adding members. Under Azul's calculation and our dedication to guild crafting, we took over New Delhi and held it for three years until the whole drama with Laurian. From then on until present, we hold Berne.
We then joined the nation Phoenix under Jamile (spelling?) when she asked me (she was my sewing skill teacher). We stayed in the nation until Jamile disappeared, so we moved to Kheil's nation (shit, was it Kheil's nation that was Phoenix?). We stayed in that nation up until Seafoam convinced Azul to move us to Asha's nation Harmony. Thanks Icecubed! We lasted in this nation until Asha disappeared and everyone dispersed. Our fourth move ended us being in Tallulah's Shizophrenia. After our move to Asha's nation, Seafoam became the main guild leader.
Interesting notes:
1. After Jamile's nation died, her active guild members of ChorTempest merged into our guild and the most prominent member that still remain would be TakoyakiKun! ♥
2. After befriending foxmoor, who was current leader of DVC, Seafoam joined DVC for a week of vacation from the guild. foxmoor is now in Shichibukai.
3. TheJuniorhood members joined Shichibukai for a while and left after a month or so.
4. OldSchool merged into Shichibukai and half of them are still active. ♥ This happened months after Inmolation's guild merged into OldSchool.
5. After Misskinki went inactive due to work and life, a couple of her
active members joined us and stayed for a few months. They rejoined
SecretSociety369 a while back. Some remain in the guild.
6. After Berserk quit for Tera, some of his members joined us for a while, and most left us. Now Berserk is with us because he came on just to get Rin.
7. I remember we used to jump nations to UtopiA just to run Babel.
8. Everyone used to qq about atlas being 2 million as being expensive. Perm. merc rooms used to be 5 million.
9. I remember sitting in the enemy's nation capital of the war between Noldor and do not remember nation's name to help lag (friend asked). Noldor won the war.
10. When jackpot license never existed and we farmed crystals for upgrades. Hard times indeed.
11. Azul was temporary king of Kheil's nation before we moved.
12. Seafoam was temporary queen of Schizophrenia before MsCawaii took over.
